Con el tiémpo aprendes a construir todos tus caminos en el hoy, porque el terreno del mañana es demasiado incierto para hacer planes. Con el tiémpo te das cuanta de que en realidad lo mejor no era el futuro sino el momento que estabas viviendo justo en ese instante.

Con el tiémpo verás que aunque seas felíz con los que estan a tu lado, añoras terriblemente a los que ayer estaban contigo y ahora se han marchado. Mi amor, I feel so close to you at all times. I think about you most of the day. I miss you a lot. It was a great idea to leave me your car. On those days when I don’t even feel like going to work, because I’m missing you, and feeling blue, I take a look at the garage and there is your car, and for some strange reason I feel a rush in my veins telling me to get ready to drive.

I get ready, and I try to match the look of your car, so I end up looking amazing, he-he-he. It’s magical getting in; the interior smells like you, still. When I seat at the drivers space I can see your smile, I can hear you joking around with me. I’m even able to hear your challenges of doing something crazy, an adventurous move, and I smile while I volume up the reggaeton sounds and start driving as fast as I can. I feel your presence and company all the way to work.

You are a genius, you knew this of keeping your car will make me feel next to you, secured, motivated and it’s true. Waiting to reorganize our lives has been the most difficult task I have ever done. Seen you reaching your life goals, dreams and challenges has given me a feeling of great fulfillment during this time since you started all this business.

Gracias, because no matter what, you are always there for me. You are present even when you are not here physically. I love when you are in charge of the most difficult situations but together we find a solution. I know that I always say the same thing; I miss you, but that’s what my heart is screaming every day.

I love the beach...


I love the way I feel when I'm there, breathing the salt, feeling the sand while I walk along the shore, not the water because its cold. The energy that I receive from the sea, I love it. I also enjoy the beach lovers like me, that you meet there because we have the same thing in common, we just love to be there.


In this occassion I went to get a my energy as usual, to relax and to find my "happy place", I was successful.

I go to work, and nine to five seems to be endless, I just want to be at home with the computer on to check if you are online. It's so good to know about you, that your are well and that I'm still important for you.
I know I have to go on with my responsibilities as usual but not having you available is a pain. I understand your job and I admire you for that and my support is a 100%. But baby I miss you so much.
I miss you hugging me while I sleep. I miss your face first thing in the morning when I wake up. I miss you sleeping like a baby, so content next to me. I miss your laugh so loud and funny, contagious. I miss the way you breath, I miss your smile, your hair sticking up with jell. I miss your perfume and the way it stays in my cloths and skin.

Oh, baby baby, I miss you…

Back to work in the morning, guess what? Missing you some more. Do you want so more? Yes you do…

Veinte Minutos

Cuando se envia a un niño que se ha comportado mal, a que se tome un tiempo de tranquilidad, 20 minutos parecen una eternidad.

Cuando estas cansado y aburrido en tu trabajo, y ya solo faltan 20 minutos para tu hora de salida, miras el reloj y esos 20 minutos parecen horas.

Cuando estas esperando a que pase un taxi, despues de haber salido borracho de la discoteca, y han pasado 20 minutos, te parecen dias y mas si hace frio.

Cuando le dices a alguien, que lo vas a recoger en 20 minutos comienzas a manejar tu auto y te sientes que vas en camara lenta, parecen como si la distancia se hicieran mas kilometros.

Pero cuando tu me llamas, y me dices que me quieres, que te hago falta, que me deseas, que solo esperas a estar conmigo. Y yo puedo hablarte a la velocidad de “Speedy Gonzalez”, todas las cosas que estoy viviendo y que de igual modo, te extrano, te quiero y te deseo, los 20 minutos que podemos hablar se me hacen centesimas de segundos.

Veinte minutos no me parecen suficientes para amarnos a la distancia, por telefono. Pero se que me tengo que conformar porque eso es lo que nos toca vivir por ahora. Sabes, odio los 20 minutos, pero tambien quiero que sepas que son los 20 minutos que me hacen mas feliz en el dia.

Prometo solemnemente que jamas castigare a Arianna con 20 minutos. Que jamas mirare el reloj cuando este trabajando. Que llamare a mi mejor amiga para que me lleve en su carro y no tener que esperar un taxi por 20 minutos. Ni le prometere a nadie recogerlo en 20 minutos.

Pero si, seguire esperando tus 20 minutos de ternura, porque se que pronto se convertiran en toda la vida.

Aqui en la casa, con tanto que hay que hacer y con pocos deseos de hacer algo. I feel out of place, like something is missing. Yes, I’m missing you big time, and I think I can handle this experience, but the reality is I’m trying to invent something to make me feel better about it, but at the end, I’m still missing you.

I try to concentrate in what I have to do but it’s no case, you are in my brain, my thoughts, my blood stream, everywhere I turn to, you are there.

I’m unable to even watch the novellas no more; I prefer to watch the screen of my computer instead. I don’t want to do much, I’m waiting for your calls and it feels like agony.

The phone rang, what a beautiful sound, the sound of your voice. “Good morning mami”, was your greeting to me.

You once again repeated and assured me you care with your “Te quiero mucho mi amor”, and that lifts my spirit above the world.

It’s so good to hear you say that you are all mine, and I know it for sure. I’m yours too and I’m more than glad that you can understand the magnitude of my love for you.

But here I am, once again, alone, thinking about the good times, and waiting. I switch from the good times to better times yet to come and I use that on daily basis to deal with this reality that is so new for me but at the same time so worth it, because of you.

No tengo de otra, I have make myself go to sleep, you are part of my life, but I have a life to take care of. Tomorrow will be another day without you. To be continue...

Magical Boston Fenway Park

Staying home to watch a Red Sox game have its advantages. I don’t have to look for the people who are selling the goodies because the goodies are already placed on the table next to my recliner, in front of the plasma TV. I don’t have to worry if it’s going to rain or it’s going to be cold, I’m in my living room.

The hot dog that I have at home is not that big or juicy but I have it to my disposition and that’s commodity. My drink is so big that it can last me for the first three innings that I won’t have to get up, well, just to the bathroom. Talking about bathroom, it could last three innings going to a ladies room at the Fenway, not having to make a line, because I’m at home, priceless.

Also my friends can join in at any time and seat next to me in the same section, my living room, no problem. At the end my friends will clean before leaving (that’s a rule) and I don’t have to drive home, I’m already here.

On the other hand, when you are there in Fenway Park, you are the action, you are part of everything that have to happen there at that specific day, no matter if your job that night was to clap only. Or you are the one that drinks until you don’t remember where are you at home or at the visitor’s park. It doesn’t matter if you are the one that watch the entire game talking on the cell, (I don’t get that one). Or you are so far away that you can’t see the game well so you start looking for the big screen. Or you are the young girl in shorts going for another beer but you know you just want to show off your legs. Or you are the security guy that is getting distracted with the girl that is getting the beer. Anyways no matter what is your role when you get there, nothing like been at the Red Sox Fenway Park.

The following photo evidence will demonstrate clearly why Boston Fenway Park is magical. This is only exhibit 1.

A. Removing from the park the guy that couldn't handle all the shit a girl was talking next to him. He just wanted to enjoy the game but this girl continued talking her drunkness out, to the point, this maricon in the red shirt stood up to hit her, what a big mistake, lol, yes, the blue shirt, is the one that I hit his face with, "wet towel style", he kept it as a souvenir.

The girl that could not shit the F up, was removed too.

B. Look at this beauty, this is something to be proud of. I witness his shirt getting wet and was the mos thrilling thing to watch. On his way back from buying beers he was holding the cup so close to his heart and coming up the stairs, of course that's how the shirt got wet with his own beer. This was a learning lesson for all of us present at the park, specially the Alumni Associatio of Springfield College. We learned that is the line at the bathroom is long, you don't have to wait or to hold it. I'm selling posters $20.

C. Oh boy, another beauty to watch, ONE PERSON WAVE at the park. Only Red Sox fans can make it happen.

D. Looking directly to the sign after the game to figure out where you at, and where did you parh' you cah'. I love that sign.

E. Checking out the hot dog guy. Ahh, I like hot dogs.

F. As usual, going home with my satisfaction smile on.

I was holding onto your chest like you were my life saver. I was able to feel your heart beating, maybe it was mine, your sweet breath on my face, your sweat on your skin under that hot sun that was burning us.

Quiet, the two of us, looking into our eyes without saying much, I felt sad. We knew what was coming. You holding on so strong, secure, so manly, giving me all the strength necessary not to melt into tears.

“Baby, I’ll be back for you. Te quiero mucho. You are the best thing that happened to me this year.” I couldn’t hold my tears. I let them flow down my face. You, with your fingers, swept the tears away. Even at that moment, before saying, “see you soon”, I felt your care, I felt loved.

You walked me to our car, and because I didn’t want to see you go in a sad note, I said to you, “Let me know about all the crazy adventures I’m sure you will do for the fun of it, while you’re there.” Your response was your awesome smile and “I will”. I turn my face to the front of the car; I didn’t have the guts to see you walking thru the gate. I slowly drove the car, and I left.

Driving to the house I was thinking of all the happiness you have brought to my life. The good moments, the funny moments, the romance, the passion, oh boy, I was smiling, and trying very hard not to cry. I decided to put the volume up and there was your favorite radio station, rock. While the music was playing I continue with the images of our time together, I was able to feel happy, but I knew that at any given moment, I had to deal with the fact that you will be away for a while, but I refused to do so, not now. I arrived at the house.

I slowly pulled over inside the garage, the memory of our first talk that early morning we decided to share all the major things of our lives, was still present. I was once again there, but without you while the rock songs continued playing. I decided to smoke a cigarette and I discovered you forgot your new lighter and I also found one with the scorpio sign, I took it, smiled and lighted the cigarette but at this particular moment I was unable to hold the sadness that wanted to come out. I put down the cigarette and I came out of the car in a slow motion and my tears started to come out.

There was my friend, Nat, who knew more about this situation, there she was looking into my eyes like telling me, I know exactly what you are feeling and I’m with you. I decided to hold my feelings once again; I didn’t want to drag Nat into it just because she was going through the same thing with her loved one.

We walked together inside the house with T’s mom as a supporter. I said very loud, well, we can’t be sad; we need to do something about it. We decided to buy food and eat at home.

Later that night, no one wanted to go to sleep waiting for some news about your and T’s journey. You guys called, that made us smile and feel better. We decided to have a drink to calm down, tequila, wine and rum was in the menu. At midnight I was so exhausted that I crashed on the sofa with my cell phone next to my face. I must have felt asleep immediately.

Six o’clock in the morning, I was up, and facing the fact you were gone, it hurt again. I opened my cell and there was a missed call, I was so mad I didn’t hear it, there was your voice telling me, “Hey, baby no mas te hable para decirte que te quiero mucho y estoy aqui en Maine so te hablo cuando llegue a Iraq, y asi hablamos mas, okay mi amor, te quiero mucho, bye”. [Hey, baby I just called to say te quiero a lot and I’m here in Maine, so, I’ll talk to you when I arrive in Iraq, and in that way we’ll talk more, okay, my love, te quiero mucho.] I felt how much you care for me, I felt you so close to me, I smile but my eyes were full of tears. I took a deep breath.

I walked to the bathroom to take a shower and while I was doing that I was thinking about how my life will be now that you are gone. I started to dress up, everything seemed to be in slow motion and I had to concentrate on what will be the next step, what I have to do, where I need to go, and I just prepared for the first day without you…

Amanecio, otro dia contigo a la distancia, una vez mas que no pude dormir como Dios manda, y despierto, despues de haberte sonado, pensando en ti.

Que estara haciendo ahora que el esta en su medio dia, mientras que para mi comienza un dia nuevo. Mientras me doy mi dosis de cafeina para poder quitarme este cansancio, me puse a imaginar, como sabra la tierra que cae sobre tu piel. Sera salada, sera amarga, sera solo tierra, resbalandola con mi lengua por tu piel, por tu cuello, por tu vientre y llegue hasta el recuerdo de cuando estuve contigo, en la intimidad. Te ame una vez mas.

Ando agarrada a mi celular como si fuera un tanque de oxigeno, vital para mi respiracion, esperando tu llamada, nos diferencian siete horas, y un planeta que se nos divide, manteniendonos separados, solo fisicamente.

Soy feliz con los recuerdos, soy feliz al escuchar tu voz que me dice; “Te quiero mucho. Estuve pensando mucho en ti.” Y vivo feliz pensando que llegara el dia de reencontrarnos. Siempre te tengo cerquita de mi, presente, en mi mente, en mi corazon. Guardando siempre el recuerdo de la primera vez que te vi. Grandioso, hermoso, unico. Yo sabia que te esperaba una vida plena, y feliz. Te mire, y deslumbrada sabia que llegabas con una estrella que alumbraba sobre ti.

Han pasado ya veintitres anos desde que por primera vez mire tu carita angelical, y ahora te amo mas. Hecho todo un hombre de valor y honor me enorgulleses cada dia. La confianza que me das para compartir cada detalle de tu vida me llenan. Soy feliz en la medida que tu lo eres y muy complacida de saber que las herramientas que te he dado para construir y reconstruir tu vida han sido las mejores. Me has demostrado tu individualidad, tu seguridad, en cada paso firme que das hacia adelante enfrentando tu vida y sus cosas en la mejor medida.

Ese dia en el aeropuerto de Jacksonville, NC, cuando me quede fijada en tus ojos y tu en los mios. El silencio nos aprisiono pero no habia nada que hacer, son los destinos escogidos, las desiciones de adultos que tomamos que nos afectan el uno al otro, pero son con toda la buena intencion.

Un silencio que lo decia todo, decia: “lo se”, “te entiendo”, “es tu responsabilidad”, “estare segura”, “tu estaras bien”, “te estare esperando”, “te llamarae”, y el grandioso, “te amo”. No existe la fidelidad, nadie es fiel, pero también es verdad que nadie va a salir de gafo a decir que no lo es. Todos los hombres son infieles a excepción de mi persona y creo que la de Jonmicol.

Mujeres fieles hay, y yo las he visto. Se reconocen por la cara de amargada. Cuando usted vea una mujer seria con rostro de obstinación es decir, ostináa.... es fiel.

Mujer que se ríe y es feliz, asi como Coqueta, es sospechosa, ¡No lo olvide! Ser celoso o celosa es la cuestión más inútil que existe en una relación de pareja, porque al final, todo el mundo, y como debe ser, hace lo que le da la gana. Así que si usted amiga y amigo celoso quiere descubrir si la persona amada puso su cariño en otro o en otra no olvide que lo más seguro es que siempre esté pasando algo.

Para empezar, primero no crea nada, todo lo relacionado con el amor es dudoso y, segundo, no deje de estar atento a los indicios más comunes. He aquí la lista de cosas de las cuales hay que estar muy pendiente:

1) Cuando una mujer dice: 'Tenemos que hablar'. ¡Ayyy papá!.....¡Prepárese y tiemble! Lo que le viene no es nada bueno. Hasta que llegue la hora de la conversación pasará todo el día nervioso pensando que se le descubrió el paquete.

2) Cuando una mujer dice: 'Es que. es que; ¡Estoy confundida!'. Es que segurito ya tiene otro y a usted le van a cortar las patas.

3) Cuando un hombre dice: 'Mi amor, vamos a darnos un tiempo para pensar mejor las cosas'. ¡Olvídese! Ese no va a pensar nada. Ese va a salir corriendo a verse justamente con la persona que ya usted pensó.

4) Cuando una mujer pide Fruit Punch en un restaurante.¡Epa!.¡Cuidado! Esa se está haciendo la pendeja para algo. Segurito se va a hacer pasar por santa para que le agarren confianza.

5) Cuando un hombre dice: 'No sé, ya no es lo mismo'. ¡Claro que no es lo mismo! Cómo va a ser lo mismo si tiene a otra más buena y menos complicada que 'lo mismo'.

6) Cuando una mujer dice: 'Me gustaría tener más tiempo para mí'. ¡No se deje engañar! 'Para mí' es un atlético y hermoso muchacho de 25 años que está bien bueno.

7) Cuando un hombre, inesperadamente se pone regalón. Cuaimaticese! (enójese) Porque ese hombre lo que siente es remordimiento por tanto cacho (cuerno) que monta y no halla qué hacer.

8) Cuando una mujer se deshace repentinamente de toda su ropa interior y se compra todo nuevo. Segurito que ya tiene un hombre que sí se da cuenta de lo bonita que le queda su ropita interior.

9) Cuando un hombre gordito y calvito de toda la vida, un buen día, sin ton ni son, se pone a dieta. ¡Mosca señora! Porque 'sin ton ni son' debe estar buenísima.

10) Cuando su mujer dice: 'Mi amor, tu sabes que yo tengo una amiga que está casada y resuuuulta que ella quiere a su esposo y todo eso, peeeeero le gusta un tipo que trabaja con ella, entonces...'. ¡Olvídese!, No la escuche más. Eso es embuste, es ella la de la vaina.

11) Cuando un hombre llega a su casa con un frasco de perfume que no es la marca tradicional que usa. ¡Esté muy pendiente!, a alguien le interesa sentir ese olor específico.

12) Cuando una mujer le dice al marido que 'un grupo de amigas la invitaron a Margarita'. Ese es un viaje de amor clásico y el cuento es de adolescentes para engañar a la mamá. Es vergonzoso que se deje timar con eso, además, eso está tan usado que ya pasó de moda.

Por supuesto que existen muchísimas otras cosas que pasamos por alto, pero si los celosos quieren un consejo, recuerden que hagan lo que hagan, vigilen lo que vigilen, celen lo que celen, repriman lo que repriman y controlen lo que controlen, más grande y sabroso es el cuerno que le está poniendo.

No olvide que la regla de oro del cacho es siempre negarlo y si es posible, hablar malísimo del tema. Ya que los cachos, al igual que la muerte, son obviamente cosas que no nos competen.
