Let's Go To The Lake!

Silver Lake State Park is a small state park (80 acres) located on the northern shore of Silver Lake in the town of Hollis, New Hampshire

Location: The park is located on NH Route 122.  Open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  From June until September 1st. 

Parking Space

Parking: Free-across (Route 122) from the park.


Admission: While parking is for free the admission is (today) $4.00 per adult and $2.00 per child (6-11 age) during times when the park is officially open. Children under 5 and NH residents 65 are free. [Used to be $2 and $1)

Playground

Children can enjoy the playground in-site.  Playing field.  Ideal place for groups, families and friends.  Not a camp site!

What to enjoy: The park offers swimming at a sandy beach with a bathhouse, picnicking, and playground equipment. It have toilets with running water. Also offered are kayak and paddle boat rentals, and a shop.  Deepest part of the lake is 28 feet.  Lifeguards on duty from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.


Woods

It also offers designated grilling spaces for cooking with tables.  Plenty of trees for the hammocks, and shadows.  The park workers are constantly around making sure no one is trashing the place resulting in a very clean park.

Effective July 1st, 2010 the use of alcohol is prohibited at this park.

To maximize your fun, find other activities around the places that you go.  Strawberry picking is very popular during June.  There are other farms around.
Pick your own strawberries.
